A four week, online, audition and business intensive.

 
 

 Auditions have started again. Television shows are shooting and theaters are holding virtual appointments. Dust off your audition technique all while learning how the business operates from the inside out. Each week we will provide a mock audition appointment, coach your audition, and explore essential business and industry concepts. The intensive culminates in a showcase and meeting with previous, high profile guests of The Breakdown podcast

The intensive meets once per week online for 2-3 hours beginning June 7th 2021. Enrollment is limited to insure individualized attention.

Finding the Perfect Monologue and ‘How To Book At An Open Call/ EPA’.

 How to Nail Television Sides and ‘All Things Agents’

 Callbacks & Confidence and ‘All Things AEA— how and when to join, EMC, health insurance etc. 

*Special Guest, Hannah Corneau, recent Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.

THE COACH

Robbie Simpson is the former Associate Artistic Director of The Cape Playhouse and an actor, director, and podcaster based in New York City. As an actor he has worked on Hulu, AMC and SciFi television shows as well as on stages in New York City and the nation’s leading regional theaters. As a director, Robbie had worked from LA to New York and as an associate on the Broadway National tours of Chicago and A Christmas Story. Robbie is a guest lecturer at the Columbia University MFA Acting Program, Syracuse University, and The University of San Diego. www.RobbieSimpsonActor.com
